These two green glazed confit pots date from the nineteenth-century and are from south west France. They were originally used for storing preserves under fat during the winter months in the cellar. It is rare to find two of the same age and similar size. They are from south west France.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
Largest measures approx. 7½" high x 8¼" wide w/ handles 6¾" diameter externally
